Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation —Uganda (Baylor -Uganda) headquartered at Mulago Hospital, is a private not for profit NGO that provides: HIV/AIDS care, treatment and prevention services; maternal child health services;
Health Professional training and Clinical Research. Baylor-Uganda is looking for knowledgeable, enthusiastic and compassionate individuals for the role positions below.
Coordinator Nursing Services (Head Office)
Reports to: Manager Medical care
Role definition: Develop and monitor the implementation of systems and guidelines for providing nursing services at COE in line with the Nurse Unit mission BAYLOR Children’s Foundation
Job specifications The job holder should have;
•A Bachelor’s (honors) degree in Nursing from a recognised institution with a post graduate qualification
•a training in research and HIV/AIDS with ART management is an added advantage
• at least 5 years’ experience as a Nurse with at least 3 years at coordination level
•have key personal competences in Team and communication skills, networking and partnership skills. Must be dynamic, Persuasive & convincing, self- motivated and able to demonstrate high initiative.
