Our
client seeks to recruit a highly motivated professional to fill the
vacancy above. This position reports directly to the Head of ACCA Uganda
with Administrative Assistant and Customer service Officer as direct
reports to this position. This position is contract based for a period
of two (2) months.
OVERALL JOB PURPOSE
The
Engagement Officer will be responsible for supporting business
development activities to enhance customer engagement with an aim to
increase new student recruitment, conversion, as well as overall
customer retention and satisfaction.
This
role will provide administrative support for member and student
engagement activities and other stakeholders as determined by the Head
of ACCA Uganda.
The
role will also provide high level relationship management and customer
service in line with ACCA’s commitment to “Fit for the Customer”
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a database of all stakeholders including members, students, employers, HEIs to support the business development teams in their engagements.
- Manage the customer retention activity
- Provision of first class service to all ACCA clients through a range of relevant communication channels to communicate and build positive relationships with customers
- Manage the marketing activities, branding of all ACCA events and Media activities
- Administer social media updates and content management.
- Provide lead support and management for stakeholder events
- Manage local production for all branded promotional material as well as advertising collateral and manage inventory for all branded
- Material for the Uganda office
- Prepare statistical reports to analyze data from client interactions and key activities
- Provide individual and group career counselling and presentations as required.
- Develop and maintain a database of speakers for key interest topics for the country events, ensuring that post event evaluations reports are prepared
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
Internal:
The
Engagement Officer will report to the Market Head, work closely with
the Education Manager and Business Development Manager; will supervise
Customer Service Officer, and will occasionally interact with CHQ teams
including the RCSM
External:
The Engagement Officer will interact with ACCA members and trainees and other stakeholder
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge
of Relationship Management and Customer service principles and
approach, events management, business presentation and general
management
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION
A relevant university business degree with a Marketing option or Mass communications degree
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
- Demonstrable experience of building and maintain external relationships and generating client leads (essential)
- Demonstrable experience of designing and delivering presentations (essential)
- Proven experience of gathering and analyzing client data and producing reports around this (essential)
- Previous experience of working in a customer/client focused business (essential)
- Previous experience in event management
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills (English)
- Demonstrate pro-activeness and good problem solving ability
- Highly ethical, accountable and responsible
- Positive, motivated with "can-do" attitude
- Proficient in MS applications e.g. Microsoft Word / Excel / Power point.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Willing to travel within Uganda
- Occasional need to work extra hours /during weekends
